Recognizing that we are all connected, and that our actions affect each other, the following is the COVID-19 (aka Covid) policy for our in-person singing. In buying a ticket, you agree to abide by this policy.
Note that when you join us at a singing group, you are proceeding at your own risk. We recommend that you keep up-to-date about Covid and your choices for protective measures through such sources as the CDC website, Marin County's website, and medical professionals.
We sing indoors, and we keep some doors and/or windows open, with fan(s), for airflow, while keeping some closed so we can use the venues’ massive heating systems and stay warm.
While Covid vaccines are not required, you are encouraged to follow the CDC’s recommendation and stay up-to-date with vaccination as that reduces the risk of severe disease, infection, and the risk of transmission if you are infectious.
Please don’t join us if:
You have any Covid symptoms, including gastrointestinal symptoms, even if you think it is because of allergies or some other cause.
You’ve had Covid symptoms recently, and you haven’t had two consecutive negative antigen tests 48 hours apart.
Within the last 7 days you've had direct contact with an individual diagnosed with, or suspected to have, Covid, or who is displaying symptoms commonly associated with Covid, and you have not had two consecutive negative antigen tests 48 hours apart starting on day 5 or later.
Also, please don’t join us if you’ve recently been diagnosed with Covid until (a) you are symptom-free and (b) it has either been 10 days since your symptoms began or since the date of your positive test if you never had symptoms or you have had two consecutive negative antigen tests 48 hours apart starting on day 6 or later. (Day 1 is the first date of symptoms, or, if you were symptom-free, the date your positive test was collected.)
You will receive a full refund, even if you cancel day-of, if you include your Covid-related reason in your cancellation email or call.
Our Covid policy may change at any time due to such factors as a change in the Covid situation in Marin.
